About Twinrix: This combination vaccine is used to help prevent infection from the hepatitis A and B viruses. Show more ▾

Hepatitis A infection can be mild with no symptoms or a severe illness that can rarely cause liver failure and death. Hepatitis B infection can cause serious problems including liver failure, long-term hepatitis B infection, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Preventing infection with these viruses can prevent these problems. Hepatitis A/hepatitis B combination vaccine is made from whole, killed hepatitis A virus and a genetically engineered (man-made in the lab) piece of hepatitis B virus. It does not contain live virus, so you can not get hepatitis from the vaccine. This vaccine works by helping the body produce immunity (through antibody production) that will prevent you from getting infection from hepatitis A and hepatitis B. This combination vaccine does not protect you from other virus infections (such as HIV virus which causes AIDS, hepatitis C/ hepatitis E, HPV virus which causes genital warts and other problems). The vaccine is recommended for people at an increased risk of getting these infections. Those at an increased risk include health care personnel, lab workers who handle blood and patient specimens, police, fire and emergency medical personnel who give first aid treatment, hemophiliacs, dialysis patients, people who live with or spend much time with people with long-term hepatitis B or active hepatitis A infections, people with multiple sex partners, men who have sex with men, sex workers, injection drug abusers, and people traveling to high-risk areas. A combination of hepatitis A and hepatitis B vaccines.

About Arexvy: This vaccine is used to prevent infection by the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). Show more ▾

Some brands may also be given during the third trimester of pregnancy to help prevent RSV in the newborn baby. RSV can cause serious illness, especially in older adults with certain health problems (such as heart disease, lung disease) and infants. It works by causing the body to produce its own protection (antibodies) against the virus. Vaccines may not fully protect everyone who receives them.

In 2024, this provider wrote 13 Medicare prescriptions for Arexvy, about a third of the volume of the typical Arizona prescriber of this medication (39.8). Medicare paid an average of $216.99 per fill, versus $264.51 statewide.

About this data. The prescription history for MR. JONATHAN CHAD PELMONT PHARMD is compiled from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Part D Prescriber Public Use File for calendar year 2024, the most recent federal release. Because prescribing decisions are generally consistent across coverage types, this record offers a useful view of the overall Pharmacist prescribing approach at this Marana, AZ practice.

Reading the costs. Drug costs are gross amounts paid to pharmacies under Part D, including both plan and beneficiary payments. They are not the price a patient pays at the pharmacy counter. Medications with fewer than 11 claims are excluded from the federal source data, and state comparisons use the average among AZ prescribers of the same medication and form, shown only when at least five prescribers contribute. Always confirm current medications and costs directly with the provider and your plan.

About the medication summaries. Drug use descriptions come from the CMS Medicare Part D Drug Spending Dashboard (2024), and substance definitions from Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) 2026, U.S. National Library of Medicine. They are summaries that do not contain all possible information about a medication and are not individual medical advice. Ask a health care professional about any medication and your specific health needs.
