NPI Profile refreshes every record weekly from the official NPPES data releases published by CMS. If a provider's information changed at CMS in the last few days, you can request an on-demand re-check here. Enter a valid 10-digit NPI number and select Continue. We will show you the matching record so you can confirm it is the right one, then select Request NPPES Sync to submit your request.

How the NPPES Sync Works
NPI Profile refreshes every record weekly from the official NPPES data releases published by CMS. The on-demand sync covers the gap between those refreshes: when you request a sync, the record is re-checked against the live CMS NPPES registry. If NPPES has newer information on file, we will sync it and the record's pages will update automatically. If everything already matches, the record is marked as verified.
