Remove Your Profile from NPI Profile

If you would like your provider profile to stop appearing in NPI Profile search results and public pages, use the opt-out tool. Once processed, your profile will no longer be directly accessible or appear in our lookup tools.

NPI Profile Opt-Out Tool
Free, takes less than a minute.

Go to the Opt-Out Tool
Important: Opting out of NPI Profile only removes your profile from this site. It does not change or remove your official NPI record in NPPES, and it does not affect your Medicare enrollment or ability to bill. Your NPI remains valid and active in all government systems.

Update or Correct Your NPI Data

NPI Profile displays data sourced directly from the official NPPES public data release. We update our records weekly whenever CMS publishes a new data file. We cannot manually edit, correct, or remove individual records. All changes must go through NPPES directly.

If your address, phone number, taxonomy, or any other information is incorrect on NPI Profile, the fix is to update it in NPPES. Once CMS releases the updated record, NPI Profile will reflect the correction automatically on our next weekly refresh. Contact the NPI Enumerator through any of the channels below:
