I am an alcoholic. Dr. Kohn saved my life, in 1983. He immediately recognized that I was in critical condition, made a few telephone calls and took me directly to Arlington Hospital's Alcohol Treatment Unit. One of the most important experiences during becoming sober was reading Under The Influence by Dr. James Milam. That book got rid of all of the guilt because it explained how the body adapts
