Hospital Compare Information

Overall Quality Rating Overall Quality Rating
The overall rating is calculated by taking the weighted average of these group scores. If a hospital is missing a measure category or group, the weights are redistributed amongst the qualifying measure categories or groups.
- 4 out of 5 stars - A Good
Hospital TypeAcute Care Hospitals - Voluntary non-profit - Private
Emergency Services Emergency Services

Yes
Mortality7 - Fewer than 100 patients completed the HCAHPS survey. Use these scores with caution, as the number of surveys may be too low to reliably assess hospital performance.
Safety of Care3 - Results are based on a shorter time period than required.
Readmission0
Patient Experience8 - No cases met the criteria for this measure.
Effectiveness of Care1 - Fewer than 100 patients completed the HCAHPS survey. Use these scores with caution, as the number of surveys may be too low to reliably assess hospital performance.
Timeliness of Care0
Efficient use of Medical Imaging11 - The lower limit of the confidence interval cannot be calculated if the number of observed infections equals zero.

NPI Validation Check Digit Calculation

The following table explains step by step the NPI number validation process using the ISO standard Luhn algorithm.

Start with the original NPI number, the last digit is the check digit and is not used in the calculation.
1417972647
Step 1: Double the value of the alternate digits, beginning with the rightmost digit.
2427187468
Step 2: Add all the doubled and unaffected individual digits from step 1 plus the constant number 24.
2 + 4 + 2 + 7 + 1 + 8 + 7 + 4 + 6 + 8 + 24 = 73
Step 3: Subtract the total obtained in step 2 from the next higher number ending in zero, the result is the check digit.
80 - 73 = 77

The NPI number 1417972647 is valid because the calculated check digit 7 using the Luhn validation algorithm matches the last digit of the original NPI number.
