Benztropine belongs to a class of medication called anticholinergics that work by blocking a certain natural substance (acetylcholine). Chlorpromazine is also used to control nausea/vomiting, relieve prolonged hiccups, relieve restlessness/anxiety before surgery, and help treat tetanus.
