With more than 7.1 million records the NPI database is large but easily accessible with our NPI number Google-like free form search tool. Our NPI tool returns NPI information based on full, partial search terms and or a combination of multiple terms. The search results are sortable and filterable and include NPI number, physician or organization name, taxonomy code, specialization, business address and Medicare's PECOS enrollment information which is not included in the NPI information but it is part of our knowledge graph.

What is an NPI number?
The National Provider Identifier (NPI) is a standard public unique identifier assigned to HIPAA covered providers. The NPI is a 10-position all-numeric identification number assigned by the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES) to uniquely identify a health care provider.
